I broke even yesterday. I was able to get in on the Trailblazers at -4. For today, I didn't post early enough as I got in on Marshall -2.5 for $110. For the later games here are my plays:
Gophers -3.5 $110 to win $100
- Minnesota has had a very good season going 8-4. They lost their last two games but played Michigan St and Wisconsin pretty tough. Prior to those two games they beat Penn St, Indiana, Nebraska and Northwestern. They have a good run game and are 5th in the Big Ten. Syracuse also runs better than they pass so those stats don't mean much. Its more about strength of schedule and the Gophers have more key wins than Cuse. Syracuse lost to Penn St at home and Northwestern on the road. Both teams the Gophers beat. The Orange lost 56-0 against Georgia Tech and 59-3 against FSU. Their most notable win was against Boston College where they won 34-31 at home.
MN vs. Syr under 47.5 $110 to win $100
- Both teams have very good defenses and offenses that have struggled. The Gophers scored just 7 points against Wisconsin and 3 points against Michigan St in their last two games. MN averages just 26 points a game on offense and gives up just 22 points on defense. Syracuse got shut out against Georgia Tech, scored just 3 points against FSU and was involved in a 13-0 win against Maryland. Syracuse averages just 23 points per game and gives up an average of 26. Seems as though the Gophers will win 26-22 so the over under and spreads are set where they should be.
Huskies -3 $110 to win $100
- We finally have a good bowl game! I like both of these teams. I'm going with Washington because this team has had some very impressive wins this year. They smoked Boise St 38-6, beat Illinois on the road, beat Arizona 31-13, beat Oregon St 69-27 on the road and beat Washington St. They did lose against some good teams (Stanford, Oregon, Arizona St and UCLA) but those are all very solid teams. BYU has had a good season and they had an impressive win against Texas early in the season. But after that game they lost their next game at home against Utah. My concern with BYU is that they lost to Notre Dame by 10 on 11/23 and then beat Nevada by just five points on 11/30. They have a solid defense but Washington's high powered offense will be too much for the Cougars in this one.
OK City Thunder -7 $110 to win $100
- The Thunder are extremely hot on the road right now winning their last 6 road games by 29, 13, 12, 16, 9 and 14. Charlotte is just 8-9 at home.
