Well I was wrong about Northern Illinois last night. It seems every year they have just one bad game. Last night was their bad game. They had one more game to win to get to a BCS and they choked. Saturday should be an entertaining day. Here are my plays:
Oklahoma St -3.5 / Over 50.5 7 pt teaser $280 to win $200
- Oklahoma lost to Texas and Baylor, while Oklahoma State beat both those teams. Okl St has been very hot lately and they seem pretty unstoppable right now. Both teams have been scoring a lot of points so going over 51 should be no problem in this one.
Baylor -6 / Auburn +11 / Mich St +15 10 pt teaser $260 to win $200
- Baylor has struggled over their last two games but both of those games were on the road. They are still one of the top teams is all of college football and they are home. All they do is score TDs. Auburn vs Missouri should be a great battle and will most likely come down to a game winning field goal so getting 11 points is close to a guarantee. Michigan St is underrated this year and I think they will win against OH St straight up.
Auburn +7.5 / Under 65 6.5 teaser $20 to win $15.40
- I am not sure who will win but Auburn has a really dynamic offense led by their running game. They are on a pretty big high after last week's win but they will be focused on this game as it is extremely important. I'm nervous about doing the under but its safer than the over because both teams like to run the ball and both teams can play good defense.
Duke +29.5 $165 to win $150
- This is an insane spread for being a conference championship. FL St has been blowing everyone out so I can understand the spread but Duke has played well all year and I think they can at least keep this game within four TDs.
AZ St -3 $165 to win $150
- AZ St has been great all year and they are especially good at home. They haven't lost at home yet this year and it seems they are playing their best football right now. They beat a very good UCLA team on the road then completely dominated Arizona last week. Stanford will be a their toughest test but Stanford struggled last week against Notre Dame and they aren't as good on the road.
Mich St +5 $220 to win $200
- Michigan St has played extremely good football all year. They have been winning their games mostly by playing outstanding defense. Michigan St leads the Big Ten is defense (pts given up 11.8, 237 yards, 778 rushing yards). OH State leads the big ten in offense and most importantly rush offense. So this should be an interesting game pitting the #1 rush offense against the #1 rush defense. From my experience, defense usually wins. I'll take the points.
Fresno St -3 $110 to win $100
- Fresno is coming off a disappointing loss last week but they have played great all year and last week was on the road. They are home tonight and Utah St is only 8-4 on the season.
