Saturday November 22, 2014 Sport Picks
Not a lot of interesting matchups this week but there are some opportunities at hand. Here are some of my favorite picks this week"
OH St -34.5
- The Buckeyes need convincing wins if they have a chance at the top 4. They have a very good offense and will be putting up a lot of points against lowly Indiana.
Marshall -18.5 vs. UAB
- I just had a vision last night that Marshall was going to blow out UAB. They win by 35 in this one.
Nebraska -8.5 vs. MN
- I know this might not be a popular pick and the Gophers are playing well lately. However, the Corn Huskers are so hard to beat at home and the crowd will be rocking. The Gophers just don't have the fire power to keep this game within 10.
South Carolina -23.5 vs. South Alabama
- SC is not looking past this game and no paper they should win by 35 or more. They are in the SEC for Pete's sake! Plus they are home against an inferior team who hasn't impressed at all this year.
Michigan St -24 vs. Rutgers
- The Spartans are coming off a disappointing win last week and will want to show the country that they are for real. I really like Michigan State's QB and their defense. 42-14 Spartans
AZ ST -14.5 vs. Washington St
- Arizona St is back home where they are much more comfortable. Last week they lost at Oregon St but I partially blame that loss on the cold weather where AZ St is just not used to. This spread should be closer to 21 or 24 in my opinion as Washington St doesn't play defense.
Kansas +25 at Oklahoma
- Kansas has played well over their last two games and almost pulled the upset against TCU. They smoked IA St by 20 two weeks ago. However, both of these games were at home so I'm a bit nervous taking them at +25 on the road. However, Oklahoma has had trouble blowing teams out.
IA +10 vs. Wisconsin
- It is hard to win in Iowa and Wisconsin is coming off a huge home win against Nebraska. This is still a very important game but I see this game being close with both defenses coming to play.
Notre Dame -3 vs. Louisville
- I really like Notre Dame in this spot. They will be pissed after losing to Northwestern in front of their home crowd. They will want to give their fans something to be happy about today. This is still a really good team people.

Tuesday November 18, 2014 Sport Picks
Today isn't the most exciting of days for sports but I am seeing some good opportunities to make a little coin. Here are some of my plays tonight:
UMass +7.5
- UMass at Akron tonight in a game I will not be watching. However, UMass has been playing well of late. They are coming off a nice little 24-10 win against Ball State. Before that they won two straight before playing a good Toledo team tough on the road losing by 7. Akron is a mess right now and if you don't know it, they suck. They have been getting smoked over their last three games. Last week they got just killed against a really bad Buffalo team.
Northern Illinois -2
- This game is a little harder to pick but I like the 8-2 Huskies to stay on a roll vs. Ohio. They have found a way to win lately, winning four straight. They aren't flashy but they get the job done. Ohio is inconsistent at best. They beat Buffalo last week. Whoop-de-do!
NBA
Atlanta Hawks ML parlayed with anyone. Lakers suck this year. Yes, they will win a few games but not on the road against a good home team like Atlanta
Milwaukee Bucks -2
- The Knicks have struggled this year and Milwaukee isn't too bad and they are home. Small wager on this.
New Orleans vs. Sacramento OVER 201.5
- I feel really strong about this game on the over. New Orleans is playing at a high level and as a team they are averaging 104.2 points per game. Sacramento is also much improved this year and is averaging 102.8. I see this as a closely fought battle with a lot of points being put up.
NHL
St. Louis Blues ML
- This Blues team is on fire right now going 9-1 over their last ten games. Boston has been struggling just a little and has had some injuries but they are still a good team so small wager on this one.

Sunday, November 16, 2014 Sport Picks
Sorry for my late post. This week I'm doing a lot of parlays and teasers but against the spread here are my picks:
Broncos +8.5
- Peyton Manning is on fire right now and coming off a huge game on the road. St. Louis has a good defense and should play Denver tough at home but the Broncos are too good not to win this by at least 10.
49ers -3.5
- This is another tough one. I'm not betting it but after seeing SF last week I am a believer that they could make it back to the big game.
Falcons -1.5
- Carolina is the worst team in the league and Cam Newton has given up.
Chiefs -1.5
- Kansas City is a really good coached team and they don't make mistakes. They are really good at home. Seattle isn't the same as they were last year. They have some problems on defense and Wilson hasn't been as good.
Bears -1.5
- I hate Chicago but they are in a good spot and need the win. They will be motivated to win this game at home.
Browns -3.5
-This is an easy one. Did you see how good the Browns were against the Bengals in Cincy? This defense is for really and they have really good coaching. Houston is starting Ryan Mallett at QB. I can't even spell the guys name but I know he sucks.
Bucs +7.5
- I don't have any really feeling on this game but I like getting 7.5 points against a pretty crappy team.
Saints -7
- Saints at home against the crappy Bengals? This one screams blowout with the Saints coming off a home loss. They need to get back on track today.
Chargers -10.5
- Raiders suck and the Chargers need a big win. 35-10 Chargers
Cardinals -1
- Easy one here. The Cardinals are so good at home and Detroit is not good on the road.
Packers -5.5
- This is another easy one. The Packers are my pick to go to the Super Bowl after seeing them completely dominant both sides of the ball last week. The Eagles have a back up QB who is going to struggle today.
Colts -3
-Tough one but I just get a good feeling the Colts will take care of business at home. New England is on fire lately so take that into account but home field advantage will be in play in this one.

I know I know. I haven't been on here for a while. I've been better and this past week has not been great. I went to Vegas last weekend and gambled. Boy oh boy did I gamble. I went out there with a total of $500. I didn't bring my ATM card. Lost $260 right away but after that I was on FIRE! Arrived home on Tuesday morning at 6am and when I counted my money I counted $7,432. Yep! So it was a good weekend. I made another $3,500 trading stocks on Thurs/Friday so my luck seems be be continuing. For Sunday I feel really good. You don't want to pass on these picks.
Lions -2.5 (um, Calvin is back)
Chiefs -1 (this teams is on FIRE right now)
Steelers -3.5 (Big Ben and his receivers know what's up)

Seahawks -9 (Giants were good earlier now they are not. Seattle was bad earlier and now they got there shit together. Seattle wins by 21 boys and girls.)
Packers -7.5 (I would buy 1 pt for -6.5). Green Bay totally rocks and are at home. Chicago is just average and hasn't played well. I think we see GB win by 14 in this one but this is a one unit type play.

Game 7 of the World Series. I have been right in 5 of 6 games so far. Tonight I can't help but take the Royals. They are home and the Giants have a sub par pitcher going in Hudson. Guthrie pitched well in game three and the Royal's bats were on fire last night. They hit Hudson well in game three. Now this would be a different pick if Bochy would just start Bumgarner. You all know how I feel about him. I think he could easily throw five shutout innings but doesn't look like the Giants want to take the risk. Coming in relief won't be a factor if they are down. Royals pen will shut it down in the 7th, 8th and 9th and the Royals party like its 1985.

Tuesday October 21, 2014 Sport Picks
I've been on a bit of a roll and I hope to keep it going tonight. World Series Game 1! Both teams had some time off which is not good for hitters. I was very impressed with the Royals in their two series so far. If this game was played on Friday I would take the Royals but with the time off I am going with the Giants.
Giants EVEN $300 to win $300
- I just can't bet against Bumgarner even though he didn't look great in two of his three postseason starts. But he still has an ERA of just 1.72 so far in the postseason. He has been really good on the road this year (2.22 ERA) and is on regular rest. The Giants can flat out hit. They impressed me so much. Hunter Pence is on fire right now and they have plenty of other bats in their lineup. The same could be said about the Royals offense but with the time off I think they struggle in this cool weather.
I'm hestitant about the under but I'm going to go with:
Under 6.5 -120 for $120 to win $100
-Shields has struggled in the playoffs in this career. I think the Giants get up 3-0 early and they won't allow the Royal's stud relief pitchers to really be a factor in this one.

I have a ton of picks for Saturday. It was all about feeling and experience. Researach only gets you so much. You need to have the passion and experience for each team to envision what will happen. I know what will happen this Saturday and here are my picks!
WV +7.5 vs. Baylor $220 to win $200
- Don't miss out on this game. West Virginia is good at home and Baylor isn't as good on the road. This is a great opp to make a few extra bucks taking the pick that the sharps are on. The public usually is wrong and the public is all over Baylor. Take WV for an easy win.
Gophers -6.5 / under 55.5 7 pt teaser 195 to win 150
- Minnesota is playing really good ball lately and last week they took care of a very good NW team. Purdue is bad and I can't see them scoring more than 14 in this game. The Gophers will score at least 28.
Iowa +7.5 (buy 2 pts son) -170 at MD $340 to win $200
- I'm looking to guarantee myself a win. Iowa is a very solid team with a great defense. Maryland is good as well so this is going to be a battle. I have no idea who will win but I know it will be a close game and 7 pts is enough for Iowa to stay within for a nice win for me! :)

Yesterday didn't go so well for me but I think tonight is going to be a great night.
Here are my picks:
SF Giants -145 $290 to win $200 vs. SL
- I can't not bet on the Giants when Bumgarner is pitching. The guy is a man among boys and the Cardinals have and will struggle against him tonight. Wainwright hasn't been good over his last two starts and the Giants are hitting the ball really hard.
SF Giants vs. Cardinals under 6 -105 52.50 to win $50
- Big time pitchers dual but the bats have been alive so I just can't bet to much but the numbers say this will be low scoring.
VT -1 $105 to win $100 vs. Pitt
- Virginia Tech has been good on the road and Pitt has struggled over their last two games. I really like the Hokies to take care of business on the road tonight.

- Both teams has been putting up points. Historically these teams are defensive minded but not this year!

- Tom Brady and the Patriots have been on fire lately. Ever since they were home underdogs vs. Cincinnati they have been taking it out on teams. Tonight will be no different. These teams do not like each other and New England is the much better team and are at home on a Thursday. The Jets don't have a chance

- I wanted to go the over 44 but I just couldn't pull the trigger so this teaser looks really good to me.

Wednesday October 15, 2014 Sport Picks
I am loving the baseball playoffs so far. They are entertaining and close. I also loved watching the Monday night football game last night. Both teams were super fast and were hitting super hard. Did anyone else know that? Kaepernick didn't have much time in the pocket but he made things happen. It was a great performance on his part. He sure loves playing indoors on that turf. For Wednesday, here are the plays I'm going with:
Cardinals +105 $200 to win $210
- St. Louis needs this win and is the better team in this series. Both teams have been playing at a high level but I love Wong, Carpenter and Adams. All left handed hitters who get to go against a right handed pitcher in Vogelsong. Ryan Vogelsong hasn't pitched very well this year but is coming off a good start. I'm pretty sure that won't be repeated tonight. He has a 6.17 ERA against the Giants in his career and has struggled a bit lately. He is 0-3 with a 5.06 ERA over the past 30 days. Plus left handed hitters have hit much better against him than right (.287 ave. for L vs. .223 for R). The Cardinals have a lot of good left handed hitters as I have mentioned. For the Cardinals, Shelby Miller has had an up and down year but he has been pitching very well of late. He has given up more than two earned runs in only one of his last seven starts (3 ER). Miller has pitched extremely well of late and has a 1.46 ERA against SF in his career (only two starts). I like the Cardinals chances in this one to even up the series.
Cardinals vs. Giants under 7 EVEN $150 to win $150
-Last night we saw 9 runs scored but we are in a pitcher's park in the national league in cool weather. Both pitchers have the ability to pitch well and I think this game will finish at something like 4-2 (Cards). Cardinals +105 $200 to win $210
- St. Louis needs this win and is the better team in this series. Both teams have been playing at a high level but I love Wong, Carpenter and Adams. All left handed hitters who get to go against a right handed pitcher in Vogelsong. Ryan Vogelsong hasn't pitched very well this year but is coming off a good start. I'm pretty sure that won't be repeated tonight. He has a 6.17 ERA against the Giants in his career and has struggled a bit lately. He is 0-3 with a 5.06 ERA over the past 30 days. Plus left handed hitters have hit much better against him than right (.287 ave. for L vs. .223 for R). The Cardinals have a lot of good left handed hitters as I have mentioned. For the Cardinals, Shelby Miller has had an up and down year but he has been pitching very well of late. He has given up more than two earned runs in only one of his last seven starts (3 ER). Miller has pitched extremely well of late and has a 1.46 ERA against SF in his career (only two starts). I like the Cardinals chances in this one to even up the series.

-Last night we saw 9 runs scored but we are in a pitcher's park in the national league in cool weather. Both pitchers have the ability to pitch well and I think this game will finish at something like 4-2 (Cards). Monday October 7, 2014 Sport Picks
Had a good day on Sunday. The Patriots made me a lot of money. That was an opportunity that doesn't come around too often. Hope most of you took advantage. For Monday I have one game that I feel really great about. The others I feel good about.
SF Giants - 145 $435 to win $300
- The Giants are playing much better than the Nationals and have the better overall team. They have the momentum in this series and are home where they were 45-36 during the regular season. That stat really means nothing because the Nationals were 45-36 on the road during the regular season! So it comes down the the starting pitching and how these teams have played recently and against each other. My big bet is solely on one reason and one reason only. Madison Bumgarner. In my opinion, Bumgarner is the very best pitcher in all of baseball right now. If you saw his last start you would understand why I say that. He is coming off a complete game shutout and I think that carries over to this game. He is a beast and Washington just can't hit. On the other side, Doug Fister has been very good this year and especially lately (1.26 ERA over his past 30 days). Fister is 4-0 over the past 30 days. So why would I go so big on the Giants?? Bumgarner is on another level right now. He is head and shoulders above everyone. He is in the same league as Kershaw and I think he has him beat right here right now. This sure will be a pitcher's duel and I'm looking forward to seeing SF win 2-0.

Saturday October 4, 2014 Picks
So I took a little time off but now is such a great time for sports. I love the MLB playoffs, NCAA Football and of course NFL. For Saturday here are the picks I'm going with:
NCAAF:
FL St -38 $110 to win $100
- Florida State is the best team in the country. I know they haven't shown it like they did last year but they still have a player named Jameis Winston. Winston is the best player in the country and he has an amazing supporting cast. They are playing at home coming off a tough win vs. NC St. I'm guessing they want to make a statement in front of their home crowd. FL St wins easily 52-10
Indiana -12.5 $110 to win $100
- Indiana is in the Big Ten and they are much improved over the past few years. This team has a very good offense. They are playing a team called North Texas. North Texas!! Come on now. Indiana will take care of business coming off the loss. 42-17
East Carolina -41 $110 to win $100
- This spread is huge! However, I'm going with the -41. Why? Because SMU is not good. They are one of the worst teams in college football, and maybe ever! haha. They lost to North Texas by 37. North Texas!!! East Carolina is a very good football team. They beat Virgina Tech on the road and they completely killed North Carolina by 29 points! This team can put up points and they aren't going to be nice to SMU
Cincinnati -4 $110 to win $100
- I'm confused on this line. Memphis is only 2-2 and just lost their best rusher. I understand they played UCLA tough but UCLA isn't all that good and they played very poorly in that game. Memphis is ok but they aren't good enough to win on the road against a good team like Cincy. 31-24
Virginia ML -210 $420 to win $200
-Virginia has played very well at home and their crowd sure supports them. Pitt just lost to Iowa at home and then Akron at home.. Akron!! Virgina gave UCLA a run for their money in their first game losing by 8 but since they won their next two home games, including a win vs. Louisville. VA 35-17
South Carolina ML -170 $340 to win $200
- Really? South Carolina vs. Kentucky and they are only a slight favorite?? Come on now. This South Carolina team is good. Really good! They are only 3-2 but every game they have played has been against a very good opponent. They know they need this game. They will give it everything they have and they are way too talented not to win today. Kentucky is better this year (3-1) but they don't have the talent or the crowd noise to compete with SC in this one..
Stanford vs. ND under 47.5 $220 to win $200
- This seems to be the game of the night. I love both teams and they both have good offenses. However, they are both defined more by their defenses. Stanford has the better defense and is only giving up an average of 6.5 points per game. Notre Dame is home so they have that going for them. The Irish shut out Michigan in week 2 and has played really good defense in the other games they have played. The under is the play. This will be a closely fought game but I'm not sure who will win.

- Baylor is averaging almost 60 points! They have a very high powered offense and TX doesn't have the best defense. This over/under is a bit confusing and I think we have an easy one here. Go the over.
Wash St -160 $320 to win $200
- Washington St has a very good QB. Quarterback is the most important position on the field and a good QB can make up for other deficiencies (see Peyton Manning in Indy). Wash St has a very good home field advantage and played very well against Oregon a few weeks ago. Cal is 3-1 on the year but they haven't been winning convincingly. They don't play good defense at all and Wash St will take full advantage.
TX A&M +125 $200 to win $250
- Big bet on A&M. Why? They need this win. They are trying to stay undefeated so they can go to the playoffs. This is a team destined to make it into the final four. They aren't the best team but they have a great coach and a lot of motivation. This is a team who beat South Carolina by 24 on the road. Last week they had a major test but took care of Arkansas at home in OT. They were probably looking ahead to this huge road game against Miss ST who is 4-0 and coming off a huge win vs. LSU on the road. This is going to be a fun game to watch but I can't help but take the +125 on the #3 ranked team. A&M 35-31
UCLA vs Utah under 64 $220 to win $200
- Lots of great opportunities this weekend. UCLA put up a lot of points last week but that was against an AZ St team that just doesn't play defense. 64 is a good number but I just have a feeling this will be a hard fought defensive battle to finish something like the Utah vs. Wash St game of 28-27.

Miami vs Buf under 42.5 $165 to win $150
- From what I saw on week one, both of these teams have a good defense and both of these teams like to run the ball. They both have very good running backs so you know they are going to be handing the ball off. This means the clock is going to be running. Take the under!!!
Jacksonville +6 $110 to win $100
- The Jags have a good defense. They have a good QB and good WRs! They play a team that was good in the past but isn't as good today. Washington has a bad defense and a QB that is totally over rated. Being right early in the season is so important and you can make a lot money on this game if if go Jacksonville. Trust Jonny G on this one!
Titans -3.5 $165 to win $150
- Tennessee looked good last week vs. KC. They have a very good Defense so we know they will be just fine in this one at home. Dallas has one of the worst defenses I have ever seen. Last week SF had no problem throwing on there inept secondary. I know Dallas has a good offense but offense never wins games. The Titans win by 14. Go Big!!
Cardinals -2 $220 to win $200
- AZ looked good last week. They just couldn't pull off the win on the road. Tonight they play at home and they are motivated to win. This team is balanced. They have a great great defense. They have a good QB and a wonderful team of both wide receivers and running backs. This team is destined! For stardom..... San Diego is old and slow. They are ok but they won't make the playoffs this year. I like Rivers and Allen but overall they are just too old and slow. Go AZ in this one!!!
Vikings +5.5 $330 to win $300
- Wow, I'm going a lot on a Vikings team that doesn't have AP. Um, why?? Because. They don't need him. They have a great coaching staff and are clicking as a team. Plus, they have a dude named Patterson... The Pats are on the downslide. Go Vikes at home here. Big time... No brainer....
Saints / Bengals Parlay $150 to win $140
- I love both of these teams to win even though they both have tough matchups. The Saints will not go 0-2. Cleveland is better but I can't see them beating Brees and his weapons. Cincinnati looked very good on the road last week against the Ravens and won that game. Today they get a home game vs. the Falcons who beat the Saints. But just know that home vs. away is huge in the NFL. Atlanta just isn't the same on the road and the Bengals are really really good at home. Easy Parlay with good odds!
Rams +5.5 $165 to win $150
- St. Louis got their asses kicked in by my Minnesota Vikings. They just aren't as good as they were last year. Last week tells that. So don't think they will start playing like a super bowl champ!! However.......... I'm taking them in this matchup. Why?? Because they are playing Tampa Bay. The Bucs are probably the worst team in the NFL this year. They have no offense. Martin and Evans have really disappointed in my opinion and when that happens it is not good for a franchise. This team is not going to do well this year. Rams suck but they will stay close in this one.....
Seahawks -255 $255 to win $100
- Seattle is the best team in the NFL so I'm gong to be betting with them a lot. San Diego is coming off a short week and that is never good for a team. The Seahawks just had a long break and a lot of time to prepare for this game. They are going to be ready for this game and most likely will blow out San Diego! Rivers is good but he struggles under pressure and there is going to be a lot of pressure!!
Sea / GB Parlay $200 to win $103
- Green Bay is at home and they have had a lot of rest. They don't lose two in a row very often. They are playing a Jets team that is very very poorly coached. They have no pass game and their defense has struggled this year. Green Bay wins easily... Trust me, Jonny G........
GB / DEN Parlay $250 to win $110
- I really like both of these teams to win. It would be unwise not to parlay them together. Easy hundred bucks!!!
GB -8 $165 to win $150
- Green Bay and Rodgers rarely lose after a loss. They are at home in this one and are playing a team that isn't very good. I love Green Bay to win this this game and this bet is that they win by a decent amount. They need this win and do not want to keep it close so I think they win by 10+ Easy win here!
Den -6.5 / Over 44 6.5 teaser $200 to

- I won't be doing too many teasers but this one just seems like a good fit. Denver is at home and we all know they are very capable of winning by 7 or more. Last year they put up a lot of points and I think they were close to putting up 44 points alone! KC has some injury concerns on defense so this game WILL go over 44. I promise you all!!!

I have a few quality picks today. I'm liking a few games a lot today. Here they are people:
Padres vs. Twins under 8.5 EVEN $400 to win $400
- Wind is blowing in. Correia has pitched well of late. He has given up more than two earned runs in only three of his last ten starts. For the Padres, Despaigne has a 2.68 ERA on the season. The Twins have never faced him so that gives him a slight edge.
Rays vs. A's under 7 -105 $210 to win $200
- I really like this pitching matchup. Hellickson vs. Gray. Hellickson has a 3.29 ERA and Gray sports a fancy 2.59 ERA. Both guys have good stats against their opponent. Hellickson's last game against the A's he pitched seven strong innings giving up just three hits and no runs. Gray's last start against the Rays he pitched eight innings giving up just five hits and one run. Oakland is a pitcher's park and losing Cespedes has affected their offensive production. In August they have scored 0, 8, 2, 3, 3 averaging 3.2 runs per game. Four of those five games were under 7 for both teams combined. This one figures to be another low scoring game.
White Sox RL -105 $315 to win $300
- Chris Sale has been one of the best pitchers in the game this year. On the season he is 10-1 with a 2.09 ERA. He has been consistant and has a 2.24 ERA at home and a 2.17 ERA in day games. Texas has struggled lately and is sitting in last place in the AL West. They have won just three games in their last ten. Tepesch hasn't been good this year. He has a 4.84 ERA on the season, 5.75 road ERA and a whopping 7.07 ERA in day games. He didn't fare too well against the Sox in his only start against them (6.2 innings, 8 hits, 5 runs).
Brewers ML -135 $270 to win $200
- Milwaukee is in first place in the NL Central and their ace is on the mound. They are only favored at -135? That is confusing to me but I'll take advantage of it. Gallardo is on fire coming off two outstanding starts where he pitched 7.2 and 7 innings giving up four hits in each game and no runs. He is locked in right now. The Brewers offense is playing well also averaging five runs per game in August. For San Fransisco, Volgelsong has been okay and is coming off a complete game win against the Mets. Before that game, Volgelsong has giving up runs of 4, 3, 2, 3 in his prior four starts. Not too bad but I'll take my chances with the better team, at home with their ace.

- I know I'm going a lot on this game but I couldn't resist. The Angel's offense has been on fire lately, especially Trout and Pujols. Dan Haren has been very bad lately and I'm surprised he is still in the Dodger's rotation. Over his last ten starts, Haren's ERA has gone from 3.49 to 4.76. He has a 5.40 road ERA and now has to play one of the best teams in baseball with the league's best hitter. Good luck son! For the Angels, Shoemaker is serviceable. He is 9-3 with a 4.09 ERA. He has pitched well over his last five starts giving up just 10 runs in 27.2 innings lowering his ERA over that stretch. He has a very good 2.84 ERA at home this season. This should be a fun game to watch and I fully expect the Angels to take care of business.

- Hamels vs. Strasburg. I don't like to put up big money on over / unders but this pitching matchup in the National League is hard to ignore. Hamels has a 2.55 ERA on the season and a 1.47 ERA over the last 30 days. He has a 1.98 ERA in day games. Strasburg has a career ERA of 2.41 against the Phillies and 2.62 ERA at home.
White Sox ML -150 $300 to win $200
- I lost this bet yesterday but the Sox again have the pitching edge and are home. Quintana has a 2.20 ERA over the last 30 days. He also likes pitching during the day (2.53 ERA). For the Twins, Gibson is capable of putting up a quality start but he has struggled a bit over the last 30 days (4.64 ERA). He struggled a bit in his only start against the Sox (4.76 ERA). Gibson also hasn't performed as well on the road (4.43 ERA).

Here are my picks for today. Nothing really stood out initially but that is why you do research :)
A's ML -165 $330 to win $200
- Jon Lester makes his first start for Oakland and you know he will want to make a good first impression. Lester is 10-7 with a 2.52 ERA. And that is pitching in hitter friendly Fenway Park. He is now pitching in pitcher friendly Oakland Coliseum. Over the last 30 days Lester is 1-0 with a 0.93 ERA in 29 innings. He has 34 strike outs over that span so he has been pretty dominant. For Kansas City, Jason Vargas has had a good season going 8-4 with a 3.31 ERA but he hasn't pitched since July 8th so he could be a bit rusty. Also, Oakland has a 34-18 record at home.
O's ML -110 $330 to win $300
- I like that Baltimore is only a -110 favorite at home. The Orioles are in first place in the East and have won seven of their last ten games. The Mariners have only won three of their last ten games. Miguel Gonzalez is 1-0 with a 1.82 ERA over the last 30 days. For Seattle, James Paxton was having a very good start (2.25 ERA) but he hasn't pitched since April 8th. He is likely to have some rust and/or only pitch five innings max. I think the O's have a big edge in this one.
Indians RL +115 $100 tow in $115
- I'm staying with the Indians after they won 12-1 last night. Texas has not played well of late and they have a pitcher going who has a 8.54 ERA. Mikolas has had one good start this year but for the most part he has struggled. For Cleveland, House is nothing special but Texas just can't hit right now.
White Sox ML -115 $115 to win $100
- Carroll hasn't pitched great this year (4.29 ERA) but over the last 30 days he has a 2.38 ERA. He also pitched very well against the Twins in his last start against them giving up just four hits and one run in six strong innings.

July 29, 2014 Sports Picks
I've been struggling a little bit but the games haven't been easy to predict lately. Tonight I hope to turn things around. Here are my picks today:
Nationals vs. Marlins under 7 $110 to win $100
- Henderson Alvarez is having a really good season. He has a 2.62 ERA on the season and has pitched in a lot of games that ended under 7. He has a 1.64 ERA at home and a 2.48 ERA in night games. In his last start against Washington he gave up just five hits and no runs in five innings. Stephen Strasburg hasn't had a great season but has a 3.67 ERA this season and 3.58 ERA over the last 30 days. I really wanted to take the Marlins in this one based on the pitching stats but I just can't bet against Stasburg.
Giants ML -115 $230 to win $200
- The Giants have lost five straight and Pittsburgh has won two straight and seven of their last ten games but Giants are only two games back in the division and won't lose every game the rest of the season. Its call regression to the mean. San Fran needs and win and what better time to do it than tonight! Tim Hudson is having a great season. He has a 2.65 ERA on the season, 2.76 ERA over the last 30 days and 1.97 ERA in night games. Liriano has struggled all year. He is just 2-7 with a 4.18 ERA. He has been pitching well over his last two starts so could pull a great performance but he has really struggled against San Fran in his career (7.20 ERA). I would consider the under 6.5 (EVEN) as well.

- Detroit has a big pitching advantage with Sanchez vs. Quintana. These pitchers have pretty even stats this year but I like getting Detroit at only -160 with one of the best pitchers in the game going at home.
A's -210 $420 to win $200
- Oakland fought hard last night but came up short. Tonight they have a huge edge in the pitching and hitting departments. Samardzjia has a 2.80 ERA on the season. Houston's Feldman has struggled at home this year with a 5.37 ERA. He has a 6.34 ERA against Oakland in this career. He just pitched against the A's on July 24th and gave up nine hits and six runs in five innings in a 13-1 loss. The RL at -135 looks pretty attractive as well.

- The wind is blowing in at around 10mph but I don't think this will affect the over/under too much tonight. Both pitchers are inexperienced and have ERA's of 5.00 and 7.20.
Rangers -155 $155 to win $100
- Yu Darish is pitching and the Rangers need a win.
Brewers +126 $100 to win $126
- Lohse is having another good year and he is 11-4 with a 3.07 ERA. He has a 2.92 career ERA against the Rays. Jake Odorizzi is just 6-8 with a 3.97 ERA.

- Both teams have struggled to score runs this year and both pitchers have pitched very well this year. Roark is 9-6 with a 2.91 ERA. Simon is 7-4 with a 2.74 ERA. The wind is not a factor. This being a National league game I am going with the under.
Dbacks ML -120 $180 to win $150
- Kendrick has a 6.89 ERA over the past 30 days. He has a 5.45 ERA against Arizona. Philly is just 3-7 over their last ten games. Wade Miley is 3-0 with a 1.88 ERA over the past 30 days. He is pitching outstanding right now and has a 2.25 career ERA against Philly and a 2.85 ERA on the road. Arizona is 6-4 over there last ten games.
Mariners RL +110 $200 to win $220
- King Felix is on the mound and he is having a great season. He is 11-2 with a 2.02 ERA. He has a 2.17 ERA at home and a 1.16 ERA over the past 30 days. For the O's, Gausman has a 5.59 ERA over the past 30 days. He's had some good starts and some bad starts so we'll see how he does tonight. I'll back the AL's best pitcher.

I took yesterday off. I was at a wedding all day. Saturday I didn't fare so well going 0-3 for -698. Overall I am now 12-8-2 for +$333. For tonight, I'm going with these games:

- Pittsburgh has been playing good ball winning there games in a row. Edison Volquez is locked in right now. He is 4-0 with a 0.90 ERA over the last 30 days. For the Dodgers, RYU has just a 4.09 ERA over the last 30 days. Pittsburgh is very good at home going 32-20 on the season.
Marlins vs. Braves under 7 -105 $105 to win $100
- Julio Teheran loves pitching at home. He has a 1.23 ERA this year at home. He as a career 2.50 ERA against Miami. For the Marlins, Koehler has had his ups and down this year but has a 3.99 ERA on the season and a 3.62 career ERA against Atlanta.
Yankees -165 $330 to win $200
- For the Yanks, Shane Greene has been outstanding in his two starts this season going 2-0 with a 1.32 ERA. In his last game he pitched 7.1 innings giving up just four hits and no runs and striking out nine. And this was against a very good Baltimore team. NY won three straight. Texas is just 1-9 over their last ten games. They are really struggling right now. Their starting pitcher, Miles Mikolas has a 10.05 ERA on the season. This seems like a no brainer.

Yesterday was going just fine until Josh Donaldson hit a 3 run homerun in the bottom of the ninth to help the A's win 5-4. That homerun contributed to me going 1-2-1 for -$235. It happens in this profession. Just need to pick myself up! Overall, I am 12-5-2 for +$1,031.

- Tim Hudson is having another great year with a 2.87 ERA. He has struggled a bit over the last 30 days but has a 2.95 career ERA against Miami, 2.52 ERA on the road and 2.06 ERA in night games. On the other side, Henderson Alvarez has a 2.63 ERA on the season and three complete games. He has really good numbers over the past 30 days (3-1 with a 2.81 ERA). He has a home ERA of just 1.56.
Tigers G2 ML -175 $350 to win $200
- Detroit has a huge pitching edge in this game with Max Scherzer vs. Zach McAllister. Scherzer is 11-3 with a 3.35 ERA on the season and McAllister is just 3-5 with a 3-5 5.63 ERA. Scherzer has been really hot lately and has just a 1.61 ERA over the last 30 days. McAllister has a 5.02 career ERA against Detroit and a 6.46 ERA on the road.

After the All Star break I am back. And I promise to start getting these picks in earlier in the day. It was just a really busy day. But here are the games I'm going with today:

- Detroit is home where they weren't as good (25-22) but Cleveland has been bad on the road (18-28). Sanchez is a big game pitcher and one of the best in the league in my opinion. He has a 2.34 career ERA against Cleveland and has a 2.48 ERA in night games. Bauer is bad on the road with a 5.48 ERA. He also has a 4.38 career ERA against Detroit and a 4.19 ERA in night games. Go with Detroit in this one.

- Chris Tillman has been pitching very well of late with a 2.36 ERA over his last 30 days. He also boasts a 1.96 career ERA against Oakland. He hasn't pitched well on the road or in night games so take that into account but those are minor stats. For Oakland, Jeff Samardzija has pitched great this year (2.78 ERA). He has pitched well in the AL so far giving up just four runs in 15 innings. He has a 2.61 ERA in night games.

July 12, 2014 Sports Picks
I took the day off yesterday. I have had a good start going 1-0 for +200 on Thursday. Overall I am 8-3-1 for +950. Here is what I'm going with today:
Braves ML -120 $120 to win $100
- Edwin Jackson has been very bad over the past 30 days going 1-3 with a 6.00 ERA in 27 innings. Mike Minor hasn't been much better (4.91 ERA over last 30 days) but he is a much better pitcher and I like his competitive drive. He's coming off a very good start against the Mets where he pitched seven innings and gave up just two hits and two runs. The Braves are tied for first place and the Cubs are in last.
Cardinals ML -135 $270 to win $200
- I'm really liking these odds with Adam Wainwright on the hill. Wainwright has a 1.79 ERA on the season and a miniscule 0.59 ERA over the last 30 days! He has a career 2.17 ERA against the Brewers and has pitched very well on the road this year (1.32 ERA). If he pitches well today I think he'll start in the All-Star game. For the Brewers, Jimmy Nelson is making just his second start of the season. Nelson had very good numbers in triple A but I would rather go with experience over potential in this one.

- The Tigers have been hot winning 7 of there last 10 games and four in a row. Rick Porcello has been very good over the last 30 days (2.45 ERA). James Shields hasn't pitched as well over the last 30 days (4.50) and he has poor career numbers against Detroit (4.49 ERA) and in night games (4.66 ERA). He is however coming off a very strong start against the Rays (7 innings, 3 hits, 0 R) so I couldn't go too crazy with his potential.

Mike Minor hasn't been much better (4.91 ERA over last 30 days) but he is a much better pitcher and I like his competitive drive. He's coming off a very good start against the Mets where he pitched seven innings and gave up just two hits and two runs. The Braves are tied for first place and the Cubs are in last.
Cardinals ML -135 $270 to win $200
- I'm really liking these odds with Adam Wainwright on the hill. Wainwright has a 1.79 ERA on the season and a miniscule 0.59 ERA over the last 30 days! He has a career 2.17 ERA against the Brewers and has pitched very well on the road this year (1.32 ERA). If he pitches well today I think he'll start in the All-Star game. For the Brewers, Jimmy Nelson is making just his second start of the season. Nelson had very good numbers in triple A but I would rather go with experience over potential in this one.
Tigers ML +116 $100 to win $116
- The Tigers have been hot winning 7 of there last 10 games and four in a row. Rick Porcello has been very good over the last 30 days (2.45 ERA). James Shields hasn't pitched as well over the last 30 days (4.50) and he has poor career numbers against Detroit (4.49 ERA) and in night games (4.66 ERA). He is however coming off a very strong start against the Rays (7 innings, 3 hits, 0 R) so I couldn't go too crazy with his potential.

I went 1-1-1 yesterday and broke even. Overall I am 7-3-1 for +750. I only have one game tonight and here it is folks:
Nationals vs. Orioles under 8.5 -115 $230 to win $200
- The 8.5 seems a bit too high considering the caliber of pitcher going tonight. Gio Gonzalez has a 1.38 ERA over the last 30 days. He has a 2.41 ERA in night games and has decent numbers against Baltimore in his career (3.75 ERA). For Baltimore, Chen is just always consistant and normally doesn't give up more than 3 earned runs in his starts. His ERA is always around 4.00. Which means he gives up 3 ER in 7 innings. He has a 3.62 ERA in night games. Under should be good here.
If I were to do other games I would look at these:

Pirates RL
Dodgers RL
Yanks/Indians over 8

Well day two was good as I went 3-1 for +350. Overall I am 6-2 for +750. For today I am going with these late games:
A's RL +130 $150 to win $175
- Oakland landed a very good pitcher in Jason Hammel. Hammel is 8-5 with a 2.98 ERA on the season. He has pitched well in his last three starts and has a lifetime 3.02 ERA against San Fran in his career. Oakland has been hot all year and are 7-3 over their last ten games and have won six straight. They have a very good 27-18 road record. The Giants are just 3-7 over their last ten games and are just 25-23 at home. Matt Cain just isn't as good as he used to be. He is 0-4 with a 5.58 ERA over the last 30 days. Not so good.
A's vs. Giants over 7 EVEN $100 to win $100
- Both teams can hit and Matt Cain is not very good. I think we see some scoring in this one.
Twins vs. Mariners over 7.5 $165 to win $150
-Both Kyle Gibson and Roenis Elias haven't pitched well over the last 30 days. Elias has a 5.79 ERA and Gibson has 4.85 ERA over that span. Gibson has a very poor 5.54 ERA on the road and 4.82 in night games. Elias has a 5.09 ERA in night games and he gave up four earned runs in his last start against the Twins. Both teams can hit and I think they put it together tonight.

Well it was a good start yesterday as I went 3-1 for +$400. With baseball, you are going to have some ups and downs and a lot of unexpected things happen but as long as I do my research I feel good about putting my money where my mouth is. Or something like that....
For tonight, I'm starting with this:
Yankees RL Even $150 to win $150
- Its hard taking a road team that is this much of a favorite but its hard to deny the pitching of Masahiro Tanaka. The man is having a great season in his first year in the MLB going 12-3 with a 2.27 ERA. Cleveland hasn't faced him yet and that gives him an even bigger edge in this one. New York has been playing great ball going 4-1 over their last five games (all on the road). Cleveland has played very well at home this year (25-17) but they are just 5-5 over their last ten games. Trevor Bauer has had his moments this year but is just 2-4 with a 4.42 ERA and the Yankees have a lot of good left-handed bats in their lineup. Bauer has given up at least three earned runs in all of his last six starts.
Ok, so I lost the Yankees game but I have an opportunity to get it back on the late games. Here is what I'm going with.
Blue Jays +1.5 -140 $140 to win $100
- R.A Dickey has pitched well over the last 30 days. The Blue Jays have lost five games in a row and they need a win bad. This just seems like a good night to do it against Tyler Skaggs who has only one start over the last 30 days and has a 5.80 ERA at home this season. This is a tough one as I think it could go either way but I like getting points in this one with good odds.
Twins vs. Mariners under 7.5 -120 $240 to win $200
- Both teams are not hitting that well and both pitchers have been pitching well this year. Phil Hughes hasn't pitched very well over his last two starts but he does have a 2.59 ERA on the road and has a respectable 3.67 career ERA against Seattle. In his last start against the Mariners he went 7 innings and gave up just three hits and no runs. Chris Young has a 2.40 ERA over the past 30 days. He has a 2.19 ERA at home this year.
A's -155 $310 to win $200
Sonny Gray has pitched well all season and has a 3.20 ERA at home and a 2.98 ERA in night games. He is coming off a very strong start against Toronto where he gave up just one run in seven innings. Bumgarner has pitched well but not great of late (4.09 ERA over last 30 days). He has a career 5.68 ERA against Oakland. Oakland has won 5 straight and are playing very well and have a very good 29-15 home record. San Fran is going the opposite direction losing seven of their last three games.

Hey everyone, this is Jonny and I'm back. I'm going to be doing sports picks through the end of the baseball season and obviously for football. For tonight's MLB games I am going with the following:
Cardinals ML -180 $360 to win $200
- Adam Wainwright is on the mound at home so why not make my first bet with one of the MLB's best pitchers. Wainwright is 11-4 with a 1.89 ERA on the season. Over the last 30 days, Wainwright is on fire going 3-1 with a 0.59 ERA. Over his last four starts he has given up just two earned runs. He is also much better in night games (1.43 ERA). The Cardinals are good at home going 24-19. For Pittsburgh, Charlie Morton has had a below average season going 5-9 with a 3.30 ERA. He hasn't been much better over the last 30 days (3-2, 3.27 ERA). Pittsburgh as been hot of late winning three straight and eight of their last ten.
Red Sox RL -115 $115to win $100
- Boston has had a rough season so far but they are still in it at this point despite the 39-49 record. They have played close to .500 at home and each game is important if they want to repeat as champs. Boston has a pitching advantage in this game. Clay Bucholtz looked like he was back in form after his last start pitching 6 1/3 innings while giving up just five hits, one run and no walks. For Chicago, Scott Carroll has been bad all year going 2-5 with a 5.05 ERA. Over the last 30 days he has a 5.60 ERA. Hopefully they get this game in tonight.
Angels RL +115 $100 to win $115
- The Angels are 7-3 over their last ten (and won four straight) and the Blue Jays are 3-7 over the last ten (and lost four straight). Jerad Weaver has been pitching well. Weaver is much better at home (2.75 ERA) and has very good numbers against Toronto in his career (9-2, 3.48 ERA). Happ has struggled on the road (5.14 ERA) and against the Angels in his career (9.45 ERA).
Mariners RL -110 $220 to win $200
- Seattle is playing good ball right now (6-4 over their last 10) and they have a nice pitching advantage with Iwakuma (6-4, 3.33) vs. Correia (4-10, 4.95 ERA). The Twins have been struggling and are just 3-7 over their last ten. Correia has pitched well over the last 30 days (2.40 ERA) but really struggles in night games (6.37 ERA) and this is a late game. His career ERA against Seattle is just 6.65. Oh, and Iwakuma has amazing numbers against the Twins in his career (0.00 ERA in 26.2 innings!).

April 15, 2014 Sports Picks
I started out on the wrong foot yesterday going 0-3 for -328. I hope to get some or all of that back tonight. Here are my picks tonight:
Orioles ML -105 $105 to win $100
- The O's completely dominated the Rays last night winning 7-1. The Rays couldn't get anything going offensively against a pitcher who had been struggling. Tonight the O's have Miguel Gonzalez on the mound. I'm a fan of Gonzalez who went 11-8 with a 3.78 ERA last year. Nothing special but he is a quality pitcher who will keep his club in games. The Rays have Brandon Gomes pitching. Gomes has been a career relief pitcher and is making his first career start. Gomes isn't very good and the O's offense should be able to put up plenty of runs against him.
Pirates ML -108 $150 to win $142
- Anyone who has read my blog knows that I love Gerrit Cole. Why wouldn't you? The guy is a big game pitcher and can bring the heat. He hits the under 90s and has good control. Cole is 2-0 on the season with a 3.46 ERA. He'll be looking to improve on his record when he faces a cold Reds team who is just 4-8 on the season. Pittsburgh will look to stop their three game losing streak with one of the MLB's best pitchers. Keep an eye on Cole this year. I believe he'll be in the running for a Cy Young if he stays healthy.
Nationals RL -1.5 -110 $110 to win $100
- Strasburg used to be my favorite pitcher and now he's just my third favorite (after Cole and Fernandez). Strasburg doesn't have electric stuff like he used to but he is getting stronger with each start. He is coming off a 12 strikeout, 1 ER win against Miami. Tonight he faces Miami again. Good news for Washington.
Red Sox ML -150 $150 to win $100
- Boston has started off in a hole going 5-8 and pulling up the rear in the AL East. The Red Sox are just too good to be sitting in the cellar. Boston is throwing Jake Peavy tonight who will face off against his old team the Chicago White Sox. Peavy has started off the season strong with a 2.13 ERA and he has also pitched well against the White Sox (2.57 ERA) in his one previous start against his old club. Chicago has Erik Johnson pitching, who just isn't very good (9.58 ERA). Johnson is a young pitcher with only seven career starts. I'll take my chances with the Red Sox tonight.
A's ML -101 $150 to win $149
- Oakland is one of the top teams in the MLB this year. They have a very solid lineup and great pitching staff. They are 9-4 on the season and 6-1 on the road. Dan Straily is pitching for the A's tonight and this young pitcher is set for a breakout season. He has a 2.77 ERA so far this season and is coming off a very nice game against the Twins where he went 7 innings giving up just 3 hits and 1 run. The Angels have the talent but with Garrett Richards pitching I would rather take the better team with the better starting pitcher. Richards has been good this year (2-0, 0.75 ERA) but he has a 5.00 career ERA against the A's and has not beat them in four previous starts.
Nets ML -250 $250 to win $100
- Brooklyn needs this win to secure the #5 seed in the playoffs and Carmelo Anthony most likely won't play tonight.

- Baltimore has a very solid team again this year and over the past few years they have played very well at home. So far this year they are just 2-4 at home and Tampa is 3-3 on the road. In terms of the pitching matchup, Chris Archer has started the season off with two great starts going 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA. I'm a big fan of Archer and he has the stuff to shut down the O's. Chen has pitched below par in his first two starts and is 1-1 with a 6.75 ERA.
Brewers ML -115 $115 to win $100
- Milwaukee has started off the season on fire is a MLB best 10-2. They have won 9 straight and tonight they have Matt Garza on the hill who went 8 innings giving up just 2 hits and 1 run in his only home start this season. St. Louis is a solid team but Lance Lynn is inconsistent and has a 6.55 ERA on the season.

- Oakland started this season hot going 8-4. They are also 5-1 on the road. LA is playing decent but are just 6-6 on the season and 2-4 at home. Jesse Chavez for the A's has pitched great in his first two starts posting a 1.38 ERA. The Angel's starter, Hector Santiago, has not pitched well and is 0-2 with a 7.71 ERA. He also has a career 5.40 ERA against the A's.

Ok. Big day today. Super Bowl Sunday. I haven't been posting as much lately for a few reasons I won't get into right now. But I'm back for today to post my Super Bowl plays. Here they are:
Seahawks +8.5 / Under 54.5 6.5 Teaser -130 $1,040 to win $800
- I love doing teasers on games that will most likely be close. I am more confident taking Seattle with the points than Denver. Seattle has the #1 defense in the league giving up just 14.4 points per game. They also have the #1 pass defense giving up just 172 pass yards per game. Denver relies on the pass and Peyton Manning set an NFL record for most Passing TDs and Passing Yards this season. However, defense wins these type of huge games. However, I can't bank on Seattle winning as I think Denver will find a way to win. Both teams are 13-3 on the season and 6-2 on the road. Both teams's defenses have been playing well lately so I'm going on the under 54.5.
Denver -2 $330 to win $300
- Denver has been playing better than anyone in the playoffs. Seattle struggled a bit. The weather is not a factor and Manning had two weeks to prepare. Seattle is just 3-2 to finish their season including a loss against Arizona at home. They are very dominant at home but on the road they haven't been all that good. Denver finished very strong going 4-1 to end their season and have looked very good in the playoffs so far. They have played well on the road this season.

January 22, 2014 Sports Picks
I took a few days off after my very nice Sunday where I went 9-3 for +1,790.

Houston Rockets / Wichita St Parlay $600 to win $210
- Houston is 17-6 at home and 7-3 over their last 10. Sacramento is just 6-12 on the road. Wichita St is 19-0 and ranked #5 in the country. Illinois St is just 11-7 on the season.
Gophers +7.5 / Under 140.5 5 Pt Teaser $140 to win $100
- I've bet against Minnesota and lost multiple times this year. Wisconsin doesn't scare me and the Gophers are hot beating Purdue and Ohio State at home and losing close games against Michigan and Michigan St. Wisconsin has lost two straight.

A very good day yesterday going3-0 for +530. Today is huge NFL day and I have the picks. Here they are:
NE +11.5 / Under 64.5 7 Pt Teaser -140 $840 to win $600
Den / Sea Parlay $400 to win $465
NE +14.5 / SF +13 / SF Under 50.5 10 pt teaser -130 $780 to win $600
NE +7.5 (buy 3 pts) -214 $600 to win $280
Den +5.5 / Sea +7 / sea Over 30.5 10 pt teas -130 $780 to win $600
- Ok so I think Denver will win but I'm so sure this will be a close game its something I feel so strongly about. I think Denver wins by 3-7 and not more. Why? Because Brady is a big game QB and has a good supporting cast and a good defense. On the other hand, Manning is the MAN! I love the guy. Why not? He is amazing and I hope and pray he wins a SB. Its all emotional at this point. But looking at stats he is 7-1 at home and NE is just 4-4 on the road. Denver is playing great ball going 4-1 over their last 5 but I have concerns. That is why I'm taking NE is most of my bets. Tom Brady is so good in big games like this. The Patriots are hot right now going 4-1 over their last five games. Denver has had issue in the secondary and NE will take advantage. Ok, that's it!
Blackhawks - 160 $160 to win $100
- Chicago rocks at home and today is a perfect spot to bet. Why? Because they had a day off and they are playing a team that sucks on the road (12-10). OK, they don't suck but that aren't great. Chicago is great going 17-3 at home. Boom!
Tampa +105 $100 to win $105
- This is great underdog play. Tampa is 28-16 on the season and 5-4 over their last 10. They are also 14-10 in road games. Carolina is 6-4 over their last 10 so we have to limit this bet but Tampa is so much better.
NYR -150 $150 to win $100
New York is on fire going 7-2-1 over their last 10 games. Washington is just 8-10 on the road and and they just played on Friday on have lost four straight so they are tired! easy win here.
Raptors -9 $110 to win $100
- Toronto is very hot right now. They have won 7 out of their last 10 games. This team is on fire. They play a Lakers team who is just 2-8 over their last 10 games so they are not hot. This game just looks like a blowout

January 18, 2014 Sports Picks
I had a good day yesterday going 3-2 for +100. Here are my plays today:
Oklahoma St +5.5 $220 to win $200
- I really like Oklahoma St this year. That have a ton of talent and should be able to keep this game close. I am a bit concerned because they haven't played great on the road and Kansas has been playing well but I love getting points in this game while taking the better team.
Syracuse -4.5 $220 to win $200
- Syracuse is a flat 17-0 this year and ranked #2. Why are they only 4.5 favorites over #22 Pitt at home? This team has been very dominant at home. Pitt is 16-1 but they haven't played many good teams and they lost to an average Cincinnati team on the road.
FL / Wichita St / Purdue Parlay $150 to win $130
- I don't have much analysis here. All three teams are very good this year and are big favorites for a reason. I really like to parlay big favorites on the moneyline.
