I went 2-3 yesterday for -$475. Looking back I probably wouldn't have changed anything. Sometimes things just don't go how they should. Here are my picks today:
Rockies -150 $225 to win $150
- De La Rosa is very good at home (2.59 ERA) and Cashner has really struggled against the Rockies (8.27 ERA in career).
Tigers -150 $300 to win $200
- Detroit had an off night last night. They will come back ready to play today. Porcello has actually looked good lately and shut down the White Sox in his August 4th start.
Dodgers -1.5 +140 $100 to win $140
- LA is so hot and they are winning games they should be losing. This game favors the Mets on the hill but the Dodgers have won Capuano's last five starts. Gee isn't as good on the road (5.43 ERA). This game is a toss up so I placed a small bet to see if the trend continues.
Angels under 7.5 -105 $210 to win $200
- Weaver!! The guy is good and he's on his game right now. On the other side, Nova has been equally impressive. He's only given up 2 earned runs in his last 21 innings.
Rays / A's / Rangers Parlay +174 $100 to win $174
- I don't normally do parlays but let's try a three teamer! All three teams are big favorites and for good reason. Let's see how this plays out.
