August 22nd Sports Picks

I finally had a good day yesterday as I went 4-1 for +550.   I really like my plays for today as well.  Here they are:

Dodgers -1.5 -145 $290 to win $200
- Kershaw has been incredible this year and lately.  He should shut down Miami with no problem. 

Reds -170 $240 to win $141
- Latos has pitched great over his last six starts and hasn't given up more than 2 earned runs in any of those starts.  He has really good numbers against the Dbacks.  Cahill has really struggled over his last three starts and has a 5.60 ERA on the road. 

Nationals -160 $160 to win $100
- Strasburg hasn't been consistent but his ERA is only 2.93 this year and has a 0.75 career ERA against the Cubs (in two starts).  Wood hasn't pitched well all that good over his last four starts and the Nationals have been hitting.

Nationals vs. Cubs under 7 +110 $100 to win $110
- Wind is blowing in and two really good pitchers are going today.  

Cardinals -135 $200 to win $148
- St. Louis is back to playing winning ball now that Molina is back.  The Braves have some injuries so won't be anywhere near full strength.  Joe Kelly has been money over his last six starts.  Maholm is coming off the DL.  Easy one here.  

Royals under 7.5 -110 $110 to win $100
- Shields and Quintana are two really good pitchers.  Shields just shut out the Tigers in Detroit and shut out the White Sox in Chicago on July 26th.  Quintana also pitched in that game on the 26th and only gave up 2 earned runs in 7 innings.  The Royals offense is struggling right now.
