Cardinals -105 $210 to win $200
- Joe Kelly has been on his game lately and has only given up more than 2 runs once over his last 8 starts. He has a 2.09 ERA on the road. Pittsburgh looks like a tough matchup but the Pirates are starting a triple A call up.
Dodgers -1.5 -110 $220 to win $200
- The Dodgers are hot and they Greinke is pitching. Zack has only given up 7 earned runs over his last 6 starts. He has a 2.29 ERA at home. San Diego has struggled and Tyson Ross has had two rough starts in a row.
Dbacks -164 $230 to win $140
- I'm banking on Corbin having a bounce back start. He has a 1.86 ERA at home. Petit has been serviceable for the Giants but this game looks to favor Arizona.
Braves vs. Marlins under 7.5 -120 $240 to win $200
- I really wanted to pick the Braves to win but at -240 I had to pass. Alex Wood has been very stingy over his last five starts where he has only given up 3 earned runs. Eovaldi has been very good over his last seven starts with the exception of one start.
Mets +130 $150 to win $195
- Niese has been outstanding over his last three starts. He pitched a complete game shut out in his last start. He has a career ERA of 2.37 against the Nationals. Ohlendorf has been good lately but has a 10.20 career ERA against the Mets.
Red Sox -1.5 -120 $180 to win $150
- Boston has dominated the White Sox and Felix Doubront has been pitching well. In his last start he gave up 4 hits and 2 runs in 6.2 innings against a very good Orioles team. For the White Sox, Rienzo had a very rough outing against the Astros (9 hits, 5 ER).
Dodgers / Braves / Red Sox Parlay $120 to win $228
- I feel confident in each of these home teams winning today but the spreads were too large to place individual bets.
